Year 1
Stardate: 10-593.9.10
Session 286: Darien Starr: Father, Lover, President, Agent of Change
The Order's attempt on Darien's life is foiled when the team kidnaps Darien and uses the event as a way to start causing conflict in the Order's ranks, thanks to a plan proposed by Miyuki. Eluere, using a virus, manages to slowly turn the cells on one another, eventually causing an EarthGov System Wide war between factions all vying over a prisoner they never really had. Angela, as acting president, asks the PAX for aid in a bloodless arest of all Order members.
The plan is a success, however, in the final attack the biggest cell breaks in on Darien's holdout group and Isis is cirtically injured, losing the baby. This is later fixed when Cheryl uses her reality powers in tandem with others skills to bring it back. The conflict settled, the Suisen Empire is brought back in for relations thanks to Angela's actions and her stance on upholding the better lives of EarthGov soliders helps shield her from impeachment by the Senate, who appear to have their hands tied on stopping Earth from getting friendly with the Empire now.
Year 2

Session 287: Josephine and the Pussies Cat
After months of trouble trying to track down Lady White, the team gets a lead when they get the suspicions, from Josephine, that Lady White will soon attack the Vice President in order to disrupt the growing peace between Earth and the Suisen Empire. The signing of the treaty between the two begins to go underway, the team keeping an eye on Josephine, who the team worries may be Lady White herself. They infiltrate the press announcement gathering for the inauguration of the treaty.
The team soon finds themselves the targets instead of Angela, as Lady White attempts to start taking them out. Affter realizing it's a trap, it's too late to try and get her as Lady White triggers a bomb threat causing mass chaos. In the chaos, the group loses track of Jennifer, who they suspect might be replaced by Lady White when they gather to watch the actual innauguration. This too however is another Red Herring, as a Lady White appears by Billy to try and torment her, captured by an angry Miyufoxhole.
The team manages to capture this Lady White, which only seems to be a puppet. The group finds clues needed to locate where Josephine was taken in the confustion, a factory under her own family's property management. They save her and are able to correct her nanite issue.
Session 288: Ethan - Idiot Father of the Dark Future
Holidays pass as we look in on a Halloween concert where Ethan gets it on with his wives, however, an injector meant for Stacey to get her pregnant instead innoculates Tamara when she's bumped into. A vampire interrupts the concert and learns not to interrupt concerts where the military, KU and the PAX residents are all present.
Stardate: 10-594.12.25
Christmas comes and Tamara seems to be pregnant. Not feeling good, she goes out to get some air and Erevis follows Ama out of the party for a bit. The two never return, Erevis and Tamara seem missing and when they're still gone the next morning, the PAX goes on alert and tries to track them down. The Earth team ends up uncovering a baby smuggling ring run by Katrina to get children in need of families to willing parents on Earth. When Peter goes to check on her, Pio comes down with the Kuu'tii virus.
Getting permission from Kyun to go to the Tsivrixsh world to keep tracking, the PAX crew lands and approaches the space port they detect a Suisen shuttle in, only to watch the entire structure go up in smoke.
Year 3

Stardate: 10-595.3.1
Months pass, and Athena assumes control of the Suisen Empire due to Megumi being stricken by grief and Ama being AWOL. When welcoming a race of horse-people onto the PAX, CHIP detects Tamara's possessions in their cargo. Questioning them leads the group to find that a cloaked man in a shuttle sold the materials and was about to leave planetside. The PAX speeds in front of the shuttle and manages to capture it. They find Tamara on board, in bad shape, but alive and still pregnant. Jennifer finds something other then the dark one prescence in her daughter, and Tamara mutters that she remembered Gartareh looking her over.
Session 289: Del - Sharp Shooting At X
X takes on training of the covert units made to infiltrate Cartella Space and deal with the combined might of the Order and the Space Pirates. However, one day while on a routine trip on Earth, she doesn't report home. Del, in worry, starts to try and contact her only to get static, at that moment, Cheryl gets a disturbing report. Kaleb, X's child, has been kidnapped. Reports of other Weapon kidnappings, including Slasher are brought to light, the team realizes someone it taking weapons and plans to use them.
The technology they stumble across, used to take Tomoe in an attack that injures Lemon, is Light Engine tech and on par with PAX technology. The link is established, if they took X, it must be whoever took Erevis, and if they have that tech, Erevis is on the verge of breaking. The previously discovered link with the identity of Tamara's kidnappers tells the group that the Order has them all.
Meeting with the PAX team, Cheryl's peolpe go on a month long recon mission with Ao, Leyaeh, Typhoon, Robb and Iceheart, along with stowaways Ako, Iko, Tel and Megumi.
Stardate: 10-595.7.24
They narrow the search down to an uninhabited world which may be used as a base, and breaking in, find the Weapons under the control of a forcibly aged Kaleb. Dias? returns to protect his son and is injured during the fight and Tomoe is disabled. X and Del wrestle as the group tries to save a dying Kaleb's life and come to the resolution that only Kaleb's effective death can break his hold on the Weapons.
The team renders him brain dead and freezes him until they can remove the part of his brain being used to control the others, and just in time to stop a bomb on X from detonating. The team escapes to space, but Erevis was not present. At that moment, Hyperspace begins to come back, Erevis broken into repairing it. The threat of the Others becomes all the more real and all the more quickly.
Ama finds Erevis on another, overlooked world and rescues her, the team following a signal to come in and pick her up. Back at the PAX, Athena continues her tenure as Empress while Erevis will need time to heal, Kaleb's brain is fixed up and Tomoe is given a new lease on life, and Del and X find themselves all the more free to make a new life together with one another.
Trouble looms on the horizon, but the team cannot close off Hyperspace again without the Empire coming under fire for it. The Other threat is on the horizon, but can anything else be done to prevent their assault? And what does the return of Hyperspace mean with other threats that were kept stranded out in space?
Later, when the others aren't paying attention, Dias leaves a note that he has taken Kaleb and left to help him recover, telling X that he might one day return when their child is better and she is willing to show interest in the baby. In the meantime, father and son both go off to get better.
Year 4

Session 290: John - Parita Turns Key On The Old Erusian Homeworld
Called up to the PAX by Erevis, Cheryl's team joins a conference to deal with a new situation. A team of Gitari diggers on the surface of the Erusian Homeworld encountered a strange, non-Erusian artifact on the planet just before communications were cut and the PAX loses power. The team uses Key's powers to teleport to the surface.
There they found the captial city forming around them, and after navigating clear of the buildings and into the storm creating a rapid surge of renewal through the planet, discovered an area where time was reversing so strongly that they began to deage. Tabetha stayed behind due to her hidden youth, and the others continued on, slowly getting younger.
Finding the device in question after solving some puzzles, they use an energy drain beam to stop the device long enough to destroy it. Key is thrown at the machine to shield others. The team teleports back up and Jennifer is able to reage most of them, however, Cheryl is now stuck as a 16 year old. Key survived, save pointing back to Leira's bed, but is not Chibi-Key.
Year 5

Session 291: Tabetha - Hale Mary, Ash to Ash, Blue Sky
While Darien and Angela battle John Tennet over the reelection seat, the Order having used the open Hyperspace Channels to start flooding worlds, taking those unprotected by the Empire and even attempting to restart their preaching on Earth, starts to become real trouble. Hoping to gather evidence of the Order's nefarious dealings, Cheryl's group has several volunteer citizens head to Jarivan, a Cartel Pleasure Planet, in hopes of finding some dirt. Accompanied by a shadow team, the group, led by Cheryl who uses her new, younger age to pose as a spoiled rich girl, head on vacation.
Stardate: 10-597.3.23
Several days pass without apparent incident, then one day at the beach a bunch of thugs approach the group and attempt to roofie Cheryl and take her away. The group resists, and the thugs get agressive, brandishing weapons. They take them out while the shadow team records. However, more "cops" show up to the fight and take Cheryl, Miyuki and Ash in for questioning. As they drive off, X and Lisa get out of the Shadow team car to stick with those left behind, while John and Tabetha follow in the car. The cops in the car reveal themselves to be in league with the thugs and shock the three, getting out to rough them up.
Even more "cops" show up at the beach, when they attempt to take Sky in for questioning, Ulieah, who was invited along for the chance of finding Naone steps up and protects Sky. This results in the guards opening fire, X creates a ripple to divert fire and Lisa plays living shield for her pilot. The fight ends quickly and the guards not taking out drive off, X, Ulieah and Kasha in pursuit. The "cops" end up stopping by the car where the original thugs were about to hit on Cheryl, literally, and the team together takes them all out. Covers blown, especially when Ash uses a teleport ability and sensors detect it, the group readies to make their getaway.
However, Iceheart informs the group that Cheryl was indoctrinated with the same virus developed years ago made to wipe out the NGDs. Cheryl orders everyone else go while Miyu and Kasha stay behind with her. As they head away, John brings up the idea of finding the cure. The group assaults a hospital and finds the thug that gave her the roofie, who tells them the lab where he got it from. They then begin to assault the lab while the more efficient Miyu and Kasha sneak into the sewers with Cheryl and infiltrate the lab. There they find the cure and fight off Naone, who's in charge of the project.
The others find their way down and join in, securing a USB with info, the cure, and Naone who they knock out and take with them before foxholing out. Later, they learn that the Cartel Order takes their actions as an act of war. However, the group has a lot of dirt on the Cartel to give Darien and Angela firepower against Tennent, who uses the declaration to make them look bad. With evidence that war would happen reguardless of their actions, the group now faces wartime with the Cartel Order, EarthGov and the Cartel clash, and the Suisen Empire fights alongside Earth, thanks to the alliance.
The USB contained interesting data, the plan to infect Cheryl to get to the NGDs, however, it reveals the real plan was to capture Tabetha. They want her brain for some reason, and cut out of her skill or having Tabetha work for them, either way seems optional. The text lists her as a savant genius, but also oddly lists Dr. Wily: who no one in the Prime Reality should know about, as he comes from Wind's reality.
Session 292: Eclipse Part 1
As Earth sits awaiting an Eclipse, the team sits wondering what terrible things will occur because it is in no way time for a solar eclipse. Isis ends up sending to the PAX to let them know what's happening, and the PAX enters near Earth Space to observe, Leyaeh putting things on high alert while some people being to act a bit odd and most look out expecting problems.
The Eclipse begins and several Gods go down to Earth to see if they can make any sense of what's happening. ISis and Miyuki head up to the PAX, Isis heading to Engineering to install an upgrade to the sensors to try and make sense of what's happening. As both groups continue to muse on the situation, problems start. CHIP runs an alert and goes offline as a Virus attacks his systems, Isis passes out in Engineering and an explosion rocks one of the God-Shield generators on the PAX, and an attack is launched on the Shrine area.
Leyaeh's altered security heads to the next generator in jeopardy as someone sneaks into the Shrine area. The group there winds up facing a mysterious figure who attacks with flame and shadow, Fiore leaps into the fray to face the enemy and is knocked down pretty badly. The generator is destroyed, but troops are spared and explosion by one sacrificial Vapaad. The Shrine area comes under heavy attack as Sammael reroutes the shields. THe strike is stopped short, but not before it levels several shrines, killing those inside, and someone makes off with Ama.
It becomes clear that the someone was Miyuki, she and Isis, seemingly under evil influence, launched the attack. As Isis recuperates and the PAX tries to recover, the Earth team meets with Erevis and others to determine their next course of action. It is at this time that Lorelei comes home from school, without Aurica. Cheryl, finding her trackers offline and Chii out looking for her and not there to reel her in, with Miyuki gone, snaps, she boards a shuttle and Peter only has enough time to put a tracker on it before she takes off.
Peter calls a mission, leaving a small number behind, and the Gods who spend more time insulting Cheryl over her seeming attempt to fly into the sun. Perhaps they were grumpy, because Tamara has already let everyone know that as this happened, all supernatural activity on Earth has ceased to function at once. Even Cedarton has suddenly vanished. In space, Peter and his team track the shuttle route, to find it shows Cheryl going into the sun, oddly, since it also shows her going around seemingly nothing in space, right where whatever is causing the Eclipse should be.
The teams together listen to tapes Lorelei found that tell the story of two children Ama attempted to discard, those born of the rape Susan-O treated her to. Those children, children of light and darkness, however, survived, and Inari was brought into the mix when she fell in love with one of them. As they listen and learn, they learn that this plot seems to be primarily to punish Ama. Peter, still determined that there has to be something where Cheryl flew around, and insistant that she's still alive, tells a second time to prepare to head up after them. Curali lets loose, blasting at the area of nothing, and a reality distrortion in the area ripples. The team goes through, as they enter, all goes black for them, crashing on a black sanded beach, the team recovers to find their powers are distorted, Inari feels her own returning while the others find that if they can access them, it comes at a cost. Peter idly recalls the Q World, wondering about the similarity.
Meanwhile, the other team sees a black planet appear in space between Earth and the Sun, the world appears to not be affecting Earth yet, but it is also not entirely phased into the reality. They go in by shuttle, not having to pass a reality rift, they seem to have an easier time of entering.
Session 293: Eclipse Part 2
Three teams, seperated by distance and confusion on a strange black planet which has appeared in the space between Earth and Sol. Peter's team runs for dear life away from a breed of scaled, hungry beasts, managing to kill one largely thanks to Curali's bravery. Killing it buys them time as the beasts consume their own, and they come to a cliff, which Inari floats them down from. In the woods below Inari is consumed by a giant man eating fly trap, which learns the full wrath of an angry Kitsune. A Cat-Bus appears to cart them all off towards the main palace, where Susan-O holds his dominion. After passing many... delightful... sights, the group sees an unnamed cavern which turns out to be the home of the one and only... -the narrator has been sacked before she could say the name-.
Peter accidentally starts to say the name which shall not be spoken and the team is dumped unceremoniously in a swamp. Peter manages to protect most of the group from falling, but Curali lands wrong and breaks her neck. To their luck, a group of aquatic monsters that are friendly are nearby and heal up Curali and the quietly knocked out Eluere before giving the group a map to the castle.
Cheryl awakens to be dragged into the castle and presented with Susan-O, and an evil version of Miyuki as his lover. To make matters worse, Susan-O introduces his second woman, an aged up, evil-ified Aurica. Intent on bending Cheryl to his will, Susan-O sticks Cheryl into a pit. Inside she finds Dek, who is more then happy to team up and work out an escape plan.
John's Mighty Warriors, also known as the others who followed the first two teams, step off onto the surface and Mizu warns them to steel their minds as they approach Susan-O, for his very presences can be maddening and cause people to act inappropriately. Tabetha suggests a concentration technique she mastered thanks to Katrina, and the group readies themselves to storm the castle.
Session 294: Eclipse Part 3
The three teams converged, Peter's escaping a tentacled horror and rising waters while John's brave heroes dug their way into the grounds. United, the team moves in to hear the sounds of torture, consumption of humans, and laughter in a terrible feast. It's interrupted when Erevis steps out to face Su, who sat on his throne with his ladies, Miyuki, Aurica and a still breaking Ama. The group engages in combat, soon learning that the demons Su summons so he can get away are nothing more the illusions. The team enters a deeper chamber where the fight with Su seems to really begin. Erevis and Angelos make their way after Ama as she's carted off, and Kumiko rushes after Lorelei who runs off feeling out Aurica. The rest stay to battle a powerful Su and Raiden, a thunder god who's on Su's side.
While the teams work together to face the gods, Lorelei runs into Cheryl and Dek, and they're ambushed by another evil goddess, who is taken down by The Large Man for them. They continue on to try and find Aurica, while they meet and battle her, the others begin to get their powers back, realizing the reality window is closing on them. This makes the fight easier, as Isis and Hi'Saa break into the castle on a Kitty Shuttle. They begin to try and break Miyuki out of her spell with the power of love, initiating a battle which causes Su to recall his power from the main room where his illusion was fighting them, which ends the fight with Raiden quickly and allows yet another goddess to open the room to Su to them faster.
Miyuki forms into armor around Su and Isis takes great physical punishment while she clings and tries to talk Miyuki out of it, and Miyuki finally begins to break free while the rest of the team starts busting Su in the head repeatedly. Eventually, they overpower Su and take him down, at least temporarily. Cheryl ends the fight with Aurica by busting up a dark priest that was controlling her, while Kumiko bumps into Aurica to push her away from Cheryl. Kumiko takes credit.
The teams united fully and Su down, they board Isis' shuttle and break free of the dark world which closes up after them, over three days, slowly fading from existence again. As people recover, Lore and Aurica return to their normal ages and the damage seems mostly undone. Cheryl however deeply considers the risk that was taken with her children and decides to once and for all retire from the military, leaving Peter in charge of the Unit.

Session 295: Other Choices
Over a year had passed, a quiet year, Darien somehow won the election, giving them more time in which they could set a foundation to keep Earth sane. With Peter heading up the Military team, the group has moved into a mountain stronghold, Cheryl sealing off part of if the building a new home inside it for her family. The group is called up to the PAX where they learn that Gartareh has been spotted again. Considering that in the other timeline, Gartareh's sole influence was the Others, the team decides they need to try and make contact with Gartareh and make friends.
In space, they find Gartareh who takes interest in them and some awesome music Iceheart plays out in space. Ama is able to warp outside and make contact with Gartareh, taking him into the ship. They convince him to give them a chance to show their views, and take him to the PAX. Here he is introduced to children and invited to a meal. The team finds Gartareh to be an impressionable child, who doesn't know many things about every day life. He's especially gentle with children and the kids on the PAX are able to get him to open up a little.
Learning of the real enemy, the Darkness, the group learns that it is the fear and hatred in people's hearts that are powering it. The kids, and Ulieah in particular, suggest that there is another way to combat it then simply killing those that fuel it: changing those hearts. Gartareh in the end agrees to give them time to weaken and help take out the darkness, he parts ways after recieving gifts from the kids. His own parting gift is to touch Naone, seemingly curing her of her insanity, bringing her back from the brink.
Session 296: Bringing Down Order
Seeing a need to end the war with the Order as soon as possible, a mission is launched. Peter joins Leyaeh and their groups team up, with Hale, Josephine, Del, Zephyr, Curali, Ethan, Naone and Ulieah board Iceheart's ship and head into Cartella space dressed as space pirates. As they approach, Peter learns the hard way just how good Cartella survalliance is, as they pick up words whispered into Zephyr's ear. Alerted, the group uses Naone to forstall fire, she claims to have escaped and have information. The group starts to fly in, and as they reach the main military facility, Iceheart breaks off, flying down deep into Cartella.
Having to use a summon and ejecting most of Iceheart's private cargo to escape, the group is contacted by Loki and redevous with him. Once he has them, he informs them that the Order is about to take down the Empire with a surgical strike using a new device that lets them portal into any space with a hyperspace source nearby. The group renegotiates Loki's contract with the PAX and they launch an operation to stop the strike.
Joined by Loki's resistance fighters, the group storms the base where the device is being kept. Taking out the turrets guarding the place, the group moves in, Naone opens the door and Leyaeh tosses a grenade to test for traps, stepping over the bodies, the group encounters one of the Order's Four Horsemen, a master of illusions who attacks the team with a seemingly harmless wave, the group takes him out after Leyaeh points out his location. Moving on, they're able to take out another Horseman who matches strength with a sneak attack, and they get into the room. All seems to be going too easy, though the team starts to see and hear things that bother them.
When they make their escape, it's Hale who realizes fully first what's happening and yells out, resisting. The team begins to resist and they awake, disarmed and chained, having been taken out by the illusionist all along. Ako and Iko, who accidentally stowed away with Tel and Rin, have been taken and are being used to power the device. The group breaks free and takes out their guards, in time to hear the portal open. They're low on time.
On the PAX, Isis' phone sex is rudely interrupted when Order troops storm Engineering. Sammael pulls her to safety, but only after she's shot, and Sammael uses her bond with Athena and Jennifer to put the ship on red alert. Isis shields the PAX's core, and the soldiers begin to try and take it out. Miyuki races through the teleporters and up to the PAX to come save her kitty, while Sammael begins making plans to free the hostage Ako and Iko.
Session 297: Unchecked Order
The Battle of Engineering raged, 3000 of Erevis' troopers and PAX security storm engineering while heroes sneak in to join the battle. On Cartella, Peter's team breaks free of prison and takes up arms, taking out guards and then three of the Order's Generals as they make their way to the Machine. Here they use brute force tactics to bust their way into the Gate Room and manage to stop a group of soldiers from shoving a time bomb into the gate. They shut it down, but the bomb only has a minute to go off when they do.
Can in Engineering, Miyuki, Isis, Kasha, Sammael and Thomas sneak through energy conduits into the inner section where the fourth general is keeping the children. The group manages to take out the three guards in the room and Ako and Iko cut their way out of a sack. Miyuki takes the looks of a guard and moves in close to the general, starting the fight, Isis sneak to the shields to reinforce them while Sammael steps out and adds some Progenitor fury to the battle. The group, with much effort, is able to knock out and secure the general while stopping the core from being destroyed.
One of Loki's soldiers is bravely able to sacrifice himself to save Peter's group from the bomb and over the coming months, the Cartella Revolution succeeds in taking back the planet and the Order is fragmented, the war with the Cartel coming to a quick end. With the war done, the teams meet and decide to give the remaining Order members worlds to inhabit and live as they please, with majority populations of non-Order people there to influence them back to sanity.
Year 8
Stardate: 10-600
Session 298: Halloweenie
Halloween approaches and the gang gets together for a bash at Cheryl's. The usual zaney antics begin while above, the Monster World closes early after expelling something out of it. There's a crash inside the house and the group finds Lorelei is missing, a stuffie in her place. They try to get a record or track her and find nothing, perhaps, Lorelei is the stuffie itself. Erevis mumbles about remembering something and heads back to the PAX.
The following day, they still have no leads. Cheryl opts that they head up to the PAX to see what Erevis knows when Aurica and Taiga join the stuffie patrol. When they arrive however, they find stuffies everywhere, and a clown stalking them in the dark. Rushing to the teleporter, they manage to get into 1B where they find Ako and Iko, the rest of the place seems turned stuffie. They point the group to the stairs leading up to 1A, where a small horde of laughing teeth come at them, Peter takes the hit, shooting at them and gets devoured and turned into a ham.
They move on and find Erevis laughing madly and getting the 'joke', in order to try and stop Bimbo the Clown, as she confirms him to be. She suggests sinking to his level, embracing the madness and using happy thoughts and jokes to fight him. The group makes their way back to earth, where they set up to summon an army of spirits and use Halloween against the Clown.
Things come to ahead on the night of Halloween, Bimbo seizes the airwaves and sends out masks to children all over earth, telling them to wear them and tune into his station at 9 PM for a surprise. The team identifies Bimbo's gag as a movie reference, and Bimbo makes his appearance, popping out of a cake. He's taken by surprise when the group greets him joyfully and plays around. The battle of bad humor begins and Tanuki balls are brought to bear. The team weakens Bimbo, who teleports them to Darien's office after pulling out the big guns, a Ghostbusters reference.
A giant schlong made of cheese assaults Mega City, and Miyuki leads attackers to try and take it down, ultimately it's bad cheese puns that take him down, Miyuki sending him back to Monster World. Everyone is restored to normal, and they're left with the rest of the night to enjoy some trick or treating.

Marshall comforts Chieka who is slowly beginning to slip into severe depression over the loss of her parents a second time. Their relationship begins to cement even further and leads them to becoming closer, taking steps toward marriage.

Angela Bennet is elected President of EarthGov. Shortly after being elected President of EarthGov, she learns that Tess Arakawa is gearing up to run for President in the next election and that she has large approval ratings. There is also signs her kids are learning fighting moves from Lorelei.

Session 299: Other Choices
Lorelei informs us about the last five years. Five years ago, many of the heroes, the "Old Guard", went into the Erusian territory and vanished. Eluere and Curali have taken charge of the military unit, Angela the new President of EarthGov and Darien assisting the remains to the military squad. Lorelei has spent years training the older of those children left behind, and they together sneak out, with some followers, heading up to the PAX to board a ship they've purchased from Loki. They have one intent and one mission: To find their parents and bring them home.
Lorelei, Aurica, Taiga, Mal, Elwyn, Cherie, Si'Chii, Hotaru, Tonbu, Marshall, Umi, Pupbro and Kitty are joined by James, Revi, Ako, Iko and Tel on board the ship. Before they fly off, Lorelei sets herself as team leader and they use one of the Tarot Cards to enter the Alternate Reality, hoping to find help in their alternate parents. What they find is devastation, and a resistant unit which saves them from a strange alien. They're urged to rush out before the area they're in is covered in Amber. What they learn in that short time is something has sealed the Alternate Reality away from them, Illum is involved, and their allies on that side are in trouble.
They head out to the site of their parents disappearance, there, in the midst of a spaceship graveyard, they are able to download a videolog of the final battle. They learn that the fight was ended when Lia helped them reach a crossfire and the Darkness was identified as being on that planet. The group heads down to the surface where they feel an oppressive atmosphere. The log ends.
The group heads down to the surface where they hope to find more answers, following the path of their parents, they head into a village. Here they are attacked by a dark whirlwind and memories once fragmented on the day their parents disappeared return to them, remembering this very thing attacking them in their school. They fight it off, sacrificing a house and ground to chase it off. The villagers, once seeing it is clear, hand them an old datapad, and they seem more information.
Their group makes nice with the villagers, who council them on the values of balance and patience. Peter and Yasha seem to get the most out of this, and they learn that Lia is already in the nearby canyon, possibly fighting the darkness. Stepping out, they head down towards the cavern, half the data corrupted, Aurica sets to repairing it. As they enter the canyong, blaster fire peppers the group, and they're soon taking out well geared attackers. Lifting the masks, they discover their attackers are Tsivrixsh. A squadron of Tsiv that joined up with the group to escort them join in the attack on the kids, however, they're quickly overwhelmed, surprised at the power of the new generation.
Aurica is able to repair the data and they see their parents enter a cave on the way to the canyon. In here, they find the Darkness waiting for them, and it's Peter who steps up and attempts talking to it. The Darkness possesses Erevis' mind and uses her to talk to them, they learn it is little more then a child escaping pain, pain is what it sees Lia as. In attempting to get it to understand, as they did with Lia, what it is doing, Chii offers her body up so that the The Darkness can continue to learn, it however, holds back nothing in consuming all of Chii, severing the bond to Cheryl which causes Cheryl to collapse. Angelos, luckily, is an Omega and there to rework Cheryl's bond to save her from a sever-death, this allows Cheryl to recover sufficiently. As they try to continue to tell the Darkness what it must do to stop this, Lia shows up.
Lia, seeing their act as a betrayal rather then an attempt to stop the violence, calls them hypocrites while himself demanding more violence, and the death of the Darkness. They try to explain they haven't betrayed Lia, but he refuses to listen, promising that he will attempt to destroy them if they every meet again, but out of respect, leaving them to deal with the Darkness this once. Perhaps attempting to let them see what the Darkness really is and hoping they'll try and kill it, or perhaps feeling he will be proven right when they destroy themselves. They do not know, but head out of the cavern when they realize the Others will have broken their truce with this, as they move to head to the canyon, they find Human allies dead, and Tsiv standing over them.
The group is quick to draw guns, but thankfully some are willing to hear explanations, Yasha is able to determine the Others did the killing, but not before Cheryl snaps their captain's neck. Megumi revives the captain, and the Tsiv promises to report that it was only a mistake in exchange. As they try to repair the damaged comms however, Others show up, forcing them to hide back in the cave of darkness. The recording ends there as Erevis drops her datapad.
The group heads to where the cave is and Lorelei forces a doorway to appear, they step in and find the darkness, which they now know may be a friend, not a foe. After promising to bring it no more pain, in fact, saying they want to end all pain, the Darkness agrees to possess someone, and in the confusion, it possesses both James and Elwyn. The two lead the group down a flight of stairs. Below, the kids hope lays the truth about their parents. What they don't hope, is that the truth hurts.
Session 300: Final Choices
Choices, that is the power behind a hero. The "Old Guard" made the choice to attempt to understand the Darkness and resolve the conflict between it and Lia in peace. Five years after their disappearance, Lorelei leads her family and friends down the broken stairs which they once rushed down, running from Others. The Darkness, occupying James' and Elwyn's bodies, continued to fill them in on the truth of 5 years prior.
The heroes made their way down the steps, when a group of Others flew down after them. Battle against them, the group was able to hold them off and get down the stairs, but the steps were greatly damaged. Fixing their injuries, they hurried down deeper into the dark. Then five more Others teleported in in front of them, in a fight which nearly claimed lives, they managed to defeat their enemies and bury at least one of them, the fifth getting away.
Passing the site of that battle, the group finds metallic Other bones, and messages written in blood indicating madness (or just extreme horniness, they were about John). Continuing past, they continue to hear from the Darkness, now identified as Nanashi. As they stepped into a large, beautiful cavern, they found coccoons of darkness all over the walls. And to their shock, they felt the life forces of their family members inside them. Si'Chii, seeing a coming threat, warns Lorelei and they begin to demand answers, Nanashi gives them.
The heroes continued into a large crystalline cavern. Here they find they're about to be surrounded by more Others when Lia appears. Nanashi loses her cool when Cheryl is shot through the chest and begins to coccoon everyone, wanting to end their pain, the heroes, the Others, and even Lia are swallowed by Darkness.
Meanwhile, on the PAX, Lia appears and addresses Iro, he tells them that he's freed himself from Nanashi's grasp, but weakened, needs help in destroying Nanashi. The leaders of the Empire and the Alliance are contacted and a fleet assembled. Taking a seperate ship out to the Erusian world, the Empire enters space and Lia sends a group down onto the planet.
Nanashi finishes it's story and then begins to fulfill it's promise, it wants to end their pain by coccooning them too. The kids begin to argue with Nanashi, trying to explain that their pain is from their parents being imprisoned, and that it's solution isn't the answer. Those who were behind on the PAX and Earth appear to help, along with Lia. Just as the group starts to reach some understanding and Iro begins to start a dialogue, the planet shakes and some of the cocoons burn.
In space, an Other-Augmented Tsivrixsh cruiser bomboards the planet. Iro, along with others return to the ship to attempt to talk down the Tsivrixsh. In the end, the arriving fleet and Iro's ship are forced to overpower the Tsiv, and a recording that the kids found planetside is used to expose the manipulation of the Tsiv by the Others. Getting them to stand down, those below are able to try and calm Nanashi, however, tensions rise. Nanashi is convinced to open the cocoons and the heroes emerge, and families are reunited.
However, so are the Others, who gun down Taiga before anyone can react. Lia, enraged, begins to destroy the Others and Nanashi helps, as do the others. Cheryl and Cherie heal up Taiga, but the damage of violence is already done. Nanashi snaps and begins to consume all. The heroes and the next generation together charge out of the caverns, the kids surprising their parents with their power as they overwhelm Nanashi and help their parents to the surface. In the struggle, Nanashi takes the Rune Blade.
On the surface, the combined groups battle with Nanashi, and those in space lend their might by firing down onto the growing Darkness entity. The Rune Blade is wrested free and turned on Nanashi. Weakened, the killing blow is opened, and Lia steps in. Lia reveals his choice, seeing what the heroes are all about, he has decided he must end the Other threat. To do this, he must die. As the heroes won't kill him, he sacrifices himself, binding to Nanashi, "Completing the Yin and Yang" as Peter would put it.
The group is then chased off the planet by a blinding pillar of white light, in space, they see the planet restored and the graveyard of ships restored, all who died 5 years prior coming back. However, the Others and their technology all crumble to dust with the loss of Lia. The only people not returned are Athena and Jennifer still missing. Sammael finds out later that the two are prisoners of Emperor Kyun, and she begins her quest to save them.
The heroes are restored and people begin to recover, families torn apart a reunited and those once thought lost are given back to their loved ones. Children are grounded for sneaking away to fight impossible battles and the children meet once again in the school yard after class. Together they form a club and prepare for their futures, those growing up about to take their parent's places as the heroes.
A new generation is formed. Legends aren't made, they are forged, and the choices of the past generation create effects which will ripple through the galaxy and time itself. The consequences are coming, but for now, there is peace.
