The Empress, an Erevis from a previous turn that the group lived through during the 99 turns that Airell put them through, she managed to take over the PAX due to knowing secrets about it that the Erevis and her family never learned. Banished from the PAX and stealing Erevis' hyperspace energy, essentially making her human and making her now her age, it forced a schism between the Empress' people and Erevis' family. Some joined the Empress like Syiean, Ao's daughter, and ventually Ao and Leyaeh herself.

Now working for the Empress and hunting and dealing with the Serpent Cult that has been, Airell worked to redeem himself while trying to keep his old Master from returning, while the Empress was revealed not to be a bad guy, but trying to make Erevis accept her true heritage of the Progenitors, without turning back into the Dark Erevis. Eventually after dealing with various family and friends, Erevis decided to just work with the Empress directly instead of doing battle with the Empress like was planned while Fate watched. Was the future changed?

Now Erevis works with the Empress to see what it is the Empress has to teach her, Lenneth is promised the throne afterward, Airell hunts the Serpent Cult, and the family seems finally reunited at last.
