The Songstress Class focuses on charm and a combination of Magikal/influence/misdirection. Their moves are laced with Magik and something else, but their talants are far from just Magik heavy like a Mage might be.

Below is a list of advantages and disadvantages you pick to replace advantages/disadvantages you might have or simply add to your character's list for flavor. For every advantage you pick you have to pick a disadvantage, however.

You can also choose to replace one of your character's racial excel and decel stats with one of the Mage's choices.

Excel Stats: Charisma, Mind, Perception (1 level up gives you 10 points in each.)

Detriment Stats: Strength, Health, Stamina (2 level ups give you 5 points in each.)

Class Advantages/Disadvantages:

Advantage: You are naturally charismatic; you are able to charm low level monsters without even bothering to sing and wasting Mana.

Advantage: You can charm low level NPC/guards into doing what you want and getting items you need.

Disadvantage: Sometimes monsters focus on you because of your unique aura and that's bad. Very bad.

Disadvantage: Because of your Charisma, you sometimes draw unwanted attention at bad times.

When you reach Lv. 25 with the Songstress, they can either be upgraded to First Wizard Class or Siren Class.

If you have an idea for a talent/ability/skill not listed below you fill fits into the Class listed, speak with the GM to create it. If it too advanced, he might just inform you it will go into the Advanced Class version of the Class.

Talents:

1) Gracefulness of a Goddess: The Songstress' body is honed and able to move gracefully like a dancer or goddess, drawing the eyes of many with her movements. This brings many unique tiers of talents for her to exploit from others, as well as allowing the player to make a few of their own.

Tier 1 - Graceful Hips: Your hip movements draw the attention of many, especially when you dance; this allows you to distract when you dance, but it also gives you the benefit of extroadinary movement and gracefulness in everyday movement. Tier 2 - Graceful Chest: Your chest movements draw the attention of many, especially when you dance; this allows you to distract when you dance, but it also gives you the benefit of extroadinary movement and gracefulness in everyday movement. You know how to move and when to move your body, be it you're male or female, and you know how to use your assets above when you need to do so. If you can't figure it out, the GM will tell you. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 3 - Agility of a Dancer: Being a singer, your tempo and movement has a beat to it that allows you to move in and out of crowds and rooms, matching the beat and life of the situations around you. You find the pulse of life of people around you and navigate around and through it without bumping into people unless it's your choice. 1 Class Level cost

2) Performance: A performance is worth much in the scheme of things. A song can captivate an audience and the flairs one adds to it and the heart one puts into it can change the outcomes of many things. Below is a few Tiers filled out but the rest is blank for you to customize your own Songstress.

Tier 1 - Dance Performance Adept: Your movement/dance moves are exceptional and practiced. You know how to move your entire body well to beats of any type of music. You can follow the flow of any type of music you hear quite well and pick up the beat and rhythm to it. 1 Class Level cost

4) Mimicry: The Songstress can mimic things they hear due to their fantastic hearing capabilities and ability to follow pitches and tones in voices/songs. While a female might have trouble mimicing a male's voice, it's not beyond them to do so with some manipulation. Below is a list of tiers that a Songstress can mimic as well as blank tiers for you to customize. There is a Mimicry Ability you can take below if you take this Talent Tree that can be enhanced upon.

Tier 1 - Same Gender Mimicry I: You can sometimes mimic the voice of the same gender of yourself if they are close to the same tonal pitch/age as yourself. The closer they are to you in tone, the easier it is to mimic. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 2 - Same Gender Mimicry II: Your ability to mimic the same gender has been improved and you can mimic the tonal shifts of anyone of your gender with enough practice, using various tricks of the trade. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 3 - Opposite Gender Mimicry: You are capable of sometimes mimicing the opposite gender if they are close enough to your pitch range of your vocal cords. See the Mimicry Abilities for improvement in this area. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 4 - Song Mimicry: If you hear an enemy Songstress' song, you can sometimes mimic it on the spot and use it back against them. This talent is hit or miss, but can greatly be improved upon by the Mimicry Ability found below. 2 Class Level cost

5) Recognition: Even in the pitch black of night or hell itself, a Songstress can identify someone by their voice - or if they've only seen an enemy by their body language they can identify them. A Songstress' life is song and body language, intertwined together, and so they see and identify people by them. Below are some tiers that go hand in hand with this.

Tier 1 - Vocal Recognition: If you hear someone speak, you are likely to remember it. The more you hear their voice, the more likely you are to memorize it and hear it later. Especially if it has unique tonal shifts to it. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 2 - Body Language Day: Spotting someone's body language in the daylight is simple enough to memorize. The more unique their body language is - especially if it's more graceful even in a soldier like way - the more likely it is to stand out to you. The more light there is, the more it will be memorized by you. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 3 - Body Language Night: Spotting someone's body language in the night is more difficult to memorize. The more unique their body language is - especially if it's more graceful even in a soldier like way - the more likely it is to stand out to you. The more light there is, the more it will be memorized by you, but this tier ensures you have a chance at night . 1 Class Level cost

Tier 4 - Body Recognition Details: If there is something unique about the body details you have memorized from the above tiers that can be used against the person, and you use this tier to ask the GM privately, he will give you the information. 2 Class Level cost

6) Detection: The Songstress has excellent detection abilities with their senses - through senses of distance and with the ability to tell lies through tonal shifts. The tiers below split up both talents amongst them.

Tier 1 - Vocal Lie Detection I: You are able to detect lies vocally 25% of the time. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 2 - Vocal Lie Detection II: You are able to detect lies vocally 50% of the time. This overrides Tier 1. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 3 - Body Lie Detection: You are able to detect lies through one's body 25% of the time in addition to the previous tier too so you can use it with Tier 2. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 4 - Distance Detection: With their distance senses, a Songstress can detect sooner than most if someone is approaching if they are making noises due to their excellent hearing. This is harder on them if the prey is silent or has stealth skills. The more noises the approaching person makes, the easier the Songstress can detect them. 2 Class Level cost

Tier 5 - Close Range Detection: If a stealthy person somehow gets close enough to a Songstress without making a sound, they can sometimes still detect them due to the heartbeat they produce and lack of void - meaning, the fact they're filling in a space and that throws off a Songstress' tempo. 2 Class Level cost

7) Rhythm: The Songstress has natural rhythm/balance with this Talent. They are able to recover more easily and regain their center of balance/rhythm quicker than most. This helps in all sorts of situations from every day to battle. Finding their inner balance can help with quickly recovering in a song to simply falling off a rooftop and recovering their balance before going splat.

Tier 1 - Inner Rhythm I: When a Songstress is flustered by someone or something during a performance or song, they can use this tier to attempt to recover their song/performance without missing a beat. This can help in various situations. 1 Class Level cost

Tier 2 - Inner Rhythm II: When a Songstress is flustered by someone or something during a performance or song, they can use this tier to attempt to recover their song/performance without missing a beat. This can help in various situations - especially in battle when performing a song for combat. 1 Class Level cost

Abilities:

1) Song of Shields: The Songstress is able to sing a song to form shields around herself and others; depending on the length and pitch of the song she's able to strengthen and cast different versions of the song.

Lv. 1: By singing quickly with no thought, the Songstress is able to throw up a shield to protect herself or others instantly from an attack - the problem is that it shatters the moment it is hit from a magikal or physical hit and knocks the Songstress off balance. This is meant for quick protect. They will need a few minutes before they can do this level again. Mana Cost: 100 / 1 Class Level Cost

Lv. 2: By singing the song for shields, the Songstress can protect herself and another with a more fully developed shield that can take more damage - each blow eating up more mana from her shield. The initial mana cost is listed next to the level cost and each blow blow will eat up a bit more. She can add additional people for 150 Mana to the shield. When she runs out of mana or quits singing, the shield will vanish. Mana Cost: 300 / 1 Class Level Cost

Lv. 3: By changing the tempo, the Songstress can form a barrier that is of an element of her choice, allowing her to purposely protect herself or another from a particular kind of magik attack. This is not meant for physical attacks/general magik attacks and this tempo allows her to counter specific magik moves. Each magik move will eat up more of her mana as it hits, but if it's the opposite element of her shield it will be lessened; if the enemy changes elements and she ahs to change her tempo, it will cost the same amount of mana listed to change the tempo to a new element. To add more people it will cost 150 Mana each time she adds more people outside herself and another. Mana Cost: 400 / 1 Class Level Cost

Lv. 4: You chart your path from here. Speak with the GM. ? Class Level cost

---

2) Song of Healing: This song is able to restore and mend a broken body's wounds to a degree.

Lv. 1: As long as the Songstress is singing, the wounds on the outer flesh will begin mending - this will eat up about 50 mana per 10 seconds as it slowly mends the wounds. This works only on the Songstress. 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 2: As long as the Songstress is singing, the wounds on the outer flesh will begin mending at a quicker rate now but this will eat up about 100 mana per 10 seconds. This restores points to the Health Stat as well. This works only on the Songstress. 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 3: This works the same as Level 2 but works on anyone. It can only be done on one person at a time. 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 4: This allows the Songstress to target more than one person at once. This will mend outer damage and close bleeding wounds/mend torn flesh but not touch inner damage done. It costs about 100 mana per 10 seconds per person that the Songstress adds but it mends fairly quickly. This is good at patching for short term to stop bleeding out so someone else can handle the internal damage later. / 1 Class Level cost

---

3) Song of Perception: This allows you sharpen your perceptions in and out of battle. When it comes ot the world around you, there may be details you need to focus on, or when you're facing a certain person you may need to get into their head better.

Lv. 1: Song of Finding. This song will allow you to discover hidden items or traps that may be in a location. This is great for finding items of value or finding traps that may harm you or others. You may have to sing this song several times per new area. Mana Cost: 100 / 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 2: Song of Sight. When blinded or in a dark area, this sing works like sonar, pinging outward and allowing you to get a feel for the area through your sound waves bouncing off objects. The more open it is, the more useless this song might become. Mana Cost: 50 per minute / 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 3: Song of Perception: This song will allow you to read a person's feelings and emotions. As you are singing it, you will be able to see into their heart and know what makes them tick on an emotional and personal level. You can't know their thoughts, but you can tell on an animalistic level why they do what they do. Like a song, why they play the tune they do. Mana Cost: 400 / 2 Class Level cost

Lv. 4: Plot your own course / ? Class Level cost

---

4) Song of Mimicry Abilities: You need to have taken Mimicry in the Talent section to be able to take this, and make sure to have taken the 5 main tiers before you can take the 4 levels below. Below the levels strengthen your natural talent of mimicry and have unique abilities for use in battle and buffing yourself.

---

7) Song of Protection: This Song can temporarily make one invincible to damage if one can learn all the lyrics and nuances to it in time. It is the ultimate form of protection, but can only be used once and a while and drains mana rapidly and leaves the Songstress tired afterwards.

Lv. 1: This instant protection can protect you from a fatal wound one time per session by drains all your mana doing so. It will restore slowly based on your stamina stat. 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 2: This allows you to survive a faulty OG attempt if you use this level afterwards before the GM types in the damage done to your character. Or another player if you choose to use it. One time per use. It temporarily drains all your mana too. 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 3: This allows you to sing and as long as you're singing, you're completely invincible to harm - you can be knocked back and knocked over but not hurt. Your mana will be rapidly draining during this time and if your singing is stopped somehow, the protection ends. 3 Class Level cost

Skills:

1) Song of Monsters: The Songstress can charm monsters with the levels below - this song does not always work and it depends on factors of luck, charisma, how much mana the Songstress has, and the strength of the monster. The more you encounter a particular monster the more likely the song will work.

Lv. 1: This allows you to charm Rank D monsters with relative ease. Mana Cost: 100 / 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 2: This allows you to charm Rank C monsters with relative ease. Mana Cost: 200 / 1 Class Level cost

Lv. 4: Your path. ? Class Level cost

---

4) Song of Pain: This song causes crippling pain in the target and brings them to their news, preventing them from being able to move. You can chart the course of the level and what areas it can effect or instead of focusing on deeper and deeper areas, like going from specific body parts deeper inside to organs, to more stronger targets, like bosses. The GM will work with you on this.

---

5) Song of Elements: You can use this song to affect the elements; you pick below either four different overall elements to effect or one or two elements that you really want to effect well. This allows you to create storms in the sky from your singing or typhoons in the water depending on your choices.
