Background History
The 3rd group of weapons created by Chad Winters during the Rebirth Project. XVI was trained alongside XVII by Chad and the other weapons. Usually working alongside XVII on missions, his main job was to train and keep the other Weapons in shape. Alongside XVII, Durt has been allowed to branch out with a new group to push himself further along. Having spent years training with Lorelei’s kids, the bonds he’s formed had pushed him farther beyond as the person he was before he joined the group until an event occurred where Weapon XII was attacked and went missing. His focus shifted a bit but his allegiance remained with Lorelei’s and the kids group up until an Ancient Device was activated on Geyze with the belief that it could grant a wish.
Durt and the other weapons convinced Winters that it was worth going after which inevitably put him and his family at odds with the kids and the other groups. Having chosen to make a move that allowed his fellow Weapons to escape, Durt fractured the trust he had built with the kids and Lorelei. Since then he’s committed to finishing Lorelei’s quest, working himself behind the scenes while no longer acting in the same role he once did whole raising them. |
